SALEM: Hundreds of firefighters battled two large wildfires Friday that threatened to merge near the most populated part of Oregon, including the suburbs Also Friday, authorities announced that a man had been arrested on two counts of arson for allegedly starting a fire in southern Oregon on Tuesday.Update- OSP, Portland Police Bureau and the FBI's exsplosive techician teams are back on seen at the residence in Scappoose, Oregon today, December 20, 2020. The teams are continuing the investigation and might need to do more controlled disposals. The neighboring homes have been evacuated.
